Services - Sunday Morning

We would be delighted to welcome you to any of our regular services.  We believe worship is at the centre of our church life, and  offer a number of different types of service to help people encounter Jesus Christ and be equipped to follow Him in their daily lives.

Our main act of worship takes place every Sunday at 10.30am every week, and is normally attended by 65-75 people of all ages.

Our services usually follow this monthly pattern:
1st Sunday - Family Service  This is an informal time of worship with music accompanied by a band.  It normally lasts for 40-50 minutes and includes an interactive talk to involve the children.

2nd Sunday - Holy Communion  This service normally lasts one hour and includes traditional hymns accompanied on the organ.  The centre of the service is the celebration of Holy Communion, at which we remember Jesus' last meal before he died on the cross and rose again by sharing bread and wine together.  We believe that we receive Christ in a special way in this service, and all worshippers are encouraged to come forward to the altar to either receive Communion or a special prayer of blessing.

3rd Sunday - Morning Prayer  This service normally lasts between 50-60 minutes, and includes a variety of types of music accompanied by the band
It includes a longer time for prayer and teaching, and provides an opportunity to explore a variety of expressions of praise and worship.

4th Sunday - Holy Communion  This service follows a similar format to that conducted on the 2nd Sunday.

5th Sunday - Holy Communion  This service follows a similar format to that conducted on the 2nd Sunday.

Tea and coffee is available after all 10.30am services.
