Scrubs Bags for the NHS

Calling All Sewers!!

The NHS and many others are asking those of us with sewing machines who have some material, old pillow cases or duvet covers to make bags for workers to put their uniforms in at the end of their shift, so that they are contained. They can then take them home  and put them straight into the washing machine, in the bag. The only stipulation is that the material must be machine washable.

If you Google “making scrub bags for nhs, you’ll get a number of results either using pillow cases or duvet covers or other material. YouTube has some results too. One good one is “Daisynics Recipes & DIY Crafts”.
When complete,  you can leave them at 6 Church Green, Church Road, Boreham (opposite the churchyard). There will be a box outside the house  for them.
