Weekend of 8th & 9th June

 Boreham in Bloom Open Gardens

• At least 11 gardens around the village will be open from 1-5pm with homemade teas in some.
• The church will be open including the tower with the opportunity to climb the ancient spiral stairs to the ringing chamber
• Plants for sale from a stall outside the church and in some gardens.
• There will be a competition trail around the gardens for children.
• On Saturday evening there will a concert in church entitled  ‘Music for a Summers Evening‘ by the Dedicated Divas. The entertainment starts at 7.00pm (doors open at 6.30). Tickets are £10 which includes refreshments. There will also be a raffle. Tickets will be available soon from any of the Social committee members and by email to Margaret Holden through: st.andrews.boreham.events@gmail.com or at the Community Coffee morning every Wednesday.
• Sunday morning worship will be ‘Songs of Praise’ held in front of the church tower (weather permitting) starting at 10.30am
• Tickets for Open Gardens will be available in advance from Boreham Post Office from the end of May, and from the plant stall at the church and all open gardens on the day. Tickets cost £7 (accompanied children free) and are valid for both Saturday and Sunday.

       All proceeds from this event are for the upkeep and maintenance of St Andrew’s Church.
