How do I book my wedding?

Can anyone get married in Boreham Church?

Anyone who lives within the parish of Boreham has a legal right to be married in the church.  You can also get married here if you have lived in the parish at some point in your life, or if you were baptised in the church.  You can also get married here if your parents have lived in the village since you were born or if either your parents or grandparents were married here.

But none of this applies to me.  Can I still get married in Boreham Church?

Yes is the short answer.  It is possible to get married in this church if you are willing to go on our electoral roll (church membership list).  In order to do so, you have to have been a regular worshipper for at least six months. We will be happy to talk with you about the best way to fulfil this requirement in a way that makes most sense for you.

I have been divorced.  Can I get still get married in Boreham Church?

We do conduct weddings for couples where one or both have been previously married.  Please make contact with the Churchwarden to see if this will be possible for you.

How much does it cost to get married in Boreham Church?

You can find details of our latest fees here.  However, we would not want anyone to be prevented from getting married for financial reasons so do please contact the Churchwarden if you have any concerns. Final payment of outstanding fees, along with a completed form, need to be paid at least 6 weeks before the date of your wedding.  Again, if there should be any issues with completing the form or payment please contact our Treasurer or the Church Wardens.
