The first Cafe Style service at Boreham was held in the Pelly Room (Meeting Room located behind the church building) on Sunday 29th December. The service lasts just one hour and begins (10.30am) with coffee etc. followed by hymns and music for reflection, Bible readings, short sermon, comfort break, and then prayers including the creed and Lord’s prayer, concluding with a shared blessing. As the room temperature is nice and warm, with a convivial atmosphere, there is still time for more coffee and chats when the service ends – a lovely way to worship.
